A built-in dimmable 3000K spotlight acts as an intruder deterrent and improves visibility at night. Note: This camera is not equipped with infrared light.
• AI Visual and Abnormal Sound Detection: Thanks to the powerful built-in Neural Processing Unit (NPU), the G5 Pro outdoor security camera supports 7 types of visual detection and 4 types of abnormal sound detection. For visual detection, the G5 Pro can recognize individual faces, vehicles, animals, and people, and can distinguish if they are loitering. It also supports lens obstruction detection and package detection. For abnormal sound detection, it can detect baby crying, alarm sounds, barking, and coughing. This feature allows you to record key events and trigger automation even during internet outages.
• Matter Hub and Bridge: The Homekit G5 Pro camera acts as a hub with dual Zigbee and Thread protocols, and can connect up to 80 Aqara Zigbee child devices or 40 Thread child devices or 20 Aqara Zigbee child devices and 20 Thread child devices. It integrates third-party devices into the Aqara Home app and exposes existing Aqara devices to Matter-compatible platforms like Apple Home, Alexa, and Google Home. *Compatibility depends on device type, ecosystem support, and presence of Matter controller.
• HomeKit Secure Video and Multiple Storage Methods: The G5 Pro 4MP surveillance camera hub supports HomeKit Secure Video (requires active iCloud subscription and Apple Home hub), features built-in 8GB encrypted eMMC storage and supports Aqara Cloud, local NAS, and RTSP with full end-to-end encryption for protection. G5 data can only be accessed by you or your family. Note: 24/7 recording is only supported with RTSP and stored on your local devices
• Easy Installation via Ethernet: Thanks to Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, this PoE camera can transmit videos and detect power via a single network cable only. Note: PoE switch is required and purchased separately. The G5 also includes a 5V 2A USB-C port for setups that don't support PoE technology.
